At SPUMC, we believe that studying the Bible is essential for spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with Christ. Our Bible Studies (most run from 4-6 weeks) offer a welcoming and engaging environment where individuals of all ages and backgrounds can explore Scripture, ask questions, and grow in faith together.

Whether you're new to the Bible or a lifelong believer, we have a study group for you! Join us as we dive into this ancient book and try to make sense of it in its time and ours through interactive discussions, prayer, and fellowship.

Lent Classes
Why Did Jesus Have to Die?

Why Did Jesus Have to Die? is a Lent class based on the book by Adam Hamilton. The New Testament offers few clear answers about how and why Jesus’ death had to happen. This study will explore the issue and reveal how this important event was meant to transform who we are and how we live. Monday nights with Rev. Lee starting February 23, 7pm and Friday mornings starting February 20, 10am.

Good News thru 4 Lenses

Join Rev. Ron for a 5-week introduction to the Gospels Tuesday nights, 7pm in the Parlor beginning February 24. Come learn more about the unique way Matthew, Mark, Luke and John each tell the story of Jesus.

Less Phone, More God

Declutter Anonymous invites you to our new Lenten class: “How to Break Up with Your Phone.” Learn practical strategies to detach from the screen and reattach to what matters most. Less scrolling, more spirit-filling. Join us Wednesdays starting February 25 at 6:30pm in Parlor. All are welcome—bring a friend! Contact Rev. Narae to learn more.
