We have an extremely active youth program here at SPUMC and it has been one of our signature ministries in the community for decades. Fifty or more youth (7th-12 grade) gather on Sunday nights for United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) from 7:00-8:30pm, do lock-ins, serve each summer through the Appalachia Service Project, act silly and form meaningful faith and friendships together. We also have a special program for 6th graders as they are acclimating to Middle School called Super Sixth and Confirmation Class each spring for 7th grade and up that meets on Sunday mornings at 9:15am. For more information about how to get involved with your youth program, contact Rev. Lee Ferrell.
