We are in the midst of a worship series that is taking us on a 4-part journey through the book of Philippians and urging all of us to consider making one attitude adjustment each week. Here’s what to expect in this slightly-out-of-order exploration of this intimate and hopeful letter from Paul to the church at Philippi:
Week 1: From Spectators to Partners (Phil.1:3-11)
Week 2: From Worry to Joy (Phil. 4:4-9)
Week 3: All Saints Sunday
Week 4: From Looking Back to Straining Forward (Phil. 3:10-21)
Week 5: From Burnt Out to Fueled from Within (Phil. 2:12-16)
Consecration Sunday is Next Week and you are invited to take part in our Attitude Adjustment stewardship campaign. We urge all members and friends to consider making a pledge commitment for 2019 to be consecrated on November 18. You can download a pledge card here or make your PLEDGE ONLINE entirely this year. Please bring your pledge to worship with you on November 18th.
Thanks to the 100+ people who have filled out a blue “Out of the Bleachers & Onto the Field” forms. You can still let us know where you may be willing to serve and offer your gifts by filling one out at the Welcome Desk at church or download a form here and bring it back with you or send it as an attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org. Ready to stop being a spectator and become a partner in the Kin-dom?
Everyone is invited to take the Philippians Challenge (read the whole book of Philippians — c’mon folks, it’s only 4 chapters long!) and to let us know that you did by texting the word Attitude to 410.983.3507.
