Sunday School

We offer Sunday School and Nursery care most weeks. Our Sunday School is staffed with volunteers who lovingly teach using Grow curriculum. All volunteers have completed our Safe Sanctuary background check to ensure the safety of children, youth, and vulnerable adults.

  • Babies- 2 year old children check into the nursery. Care is offered weekly at 9:15 & 10:45.
  • 3-5 year old children check into Sunday School. Preschool Sunday School is offered weekly at 9:15.
  • Kindergarten- 5th grade children check into Sunday School at 9:15. The 2nd-5th Sundays of the month there is Sunday School. The FIRST Sunday of the month is Family First Sunday. On those Sundays elementary children worship with their families.

This Spring in Sunday School

A Series from the Gospels on Jesus’ Teachings

SERIES OVERVIEW: From retro toys to fashion trends, we all love a good throwback. (Especially for grown-ups because it reminds us of being young again.) There are things that remind us of a moment in time, but other things feel timeless and like they’re always in style. In this four-week series, kids will travel through the decades and see that the teachings of Jesus in the Gospels are always trending. As we hear from Jesus, we’ll see it’s always good to be humble, we can always forgive, Jesus is always fair, and love always needs action.

Kids in Worship

Whether we are worshiping at home or at church, or anywhere along our way, it can be challenging with young kids to keep them engaged. Elementary kids attend worship with their families the first Sunday of each month. To make children’s time in worship more meaningful check out these strategies. You may find them helpful too! Additionally, here are a few book recommendations. Parenting in the Pew by Robbie Castleman and A Children’s Guide to Worship & Come Worship with Me by Ruth Boling.

Tip of the Month:

Sometimes parenting will be hard. This is never more true than when a kid is in danger. If you ever suspect (or know) your kid or another kid is being harmed or causing harm, your quick response is so important. But what should you do? And when? And under what circumstances? How do you know you’re not overreacting or not reacting enough? Well, the good news is your local government, schools, and church probably already have some strategies in place, so if you’re not sure what they are, ask! But in general, here’s when you should report a dangerous situation:
